During this class we explore various different methods of working with buttercream which is extremely trendy at the moment in the Wedding cake industry. During this class you will put together a 3 tier cake using different techniques with buttercream.

FULL TIME: 3 days 9.00am am to 4.00pm

  • Buttercream rose swirl
  • Dragged dot piping
  • Different textures in Buttercream
  • Water colour effect
  • Shading buttercream for the Ombre effect
  • Working with different piping nozzles
  • How to make a chocolate ganache for the drip cake
  • How to pour the ganache for the drip cake
  • Decorating a cake with fresh flowers
  • Chocolate decorations
  • How to colour chocolate
  • Using the metallic colours on chocolate
  • How to stack and support a buttercream cake
  • How to make a semi naked cake
  • How to make meringues

 

Cost R 6500.00 All Ingredients are included in the fees. To confirm your place we require a Registration fee of R 2500.00. Then the balance of R 4000.00 on the 1st class
